The second shipment of Pfizer vaccines has arrived in LaSalle County. The county’s health department says the three hospitals in the county got their shares of it Wednesday. Front line health care workers who got their first doses in December can now begin getting their second doses. Health care employees who don’t work for hospitals can go to the county health department web site to make a request for the shots. The health department says it is planning for “phase 1B” in which people age 65 and up can get the vaccines along with more workers considered essential.
