It’s been a light winter so far as far as snowfall goes. Tim Schweizer with the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is telling snowmobilers to start making sure they’re familiar with the safety rules. A little snow might not be enough.
Schweizer says dress safely too. Dressing in layers can keep you warm. But he says make sure your scarf isn’t long enough to get caught up in any part of a moving snowmobile.
