Ottawa City Commissioner Wayne Eichelkraut says business interruption grants only go so far. He says they don’t make a big dent in the disruption when the bills that come due every month still add up to thousands of dollars. Eichelkraut is asking Mayor Dan Aussem to send a letter to Gov. Prtizker and ask for partial reopenings.
Eichelkraut says he thinks a lot of businesses will soon close permanently.
