Coronavirus recoveries outnumbered new cases in LaSalle County again Tuesday. The county’s health department figures show the number of active cases dropped from 2,994 to 2,982. But the department reported five more fatal cases for 181 so far. The latest to die of the virus ranged in age from their 70s to 100s.
