An Ottawa man is going to prison for a four-year term after pleading guilty to possession of a stolen vehicle. Twenty-two year old Lamont C. Adams had also faced charges of damaging government property and aggravated battery against a police officer. Those charges were dismissed in a plea agreement last week.

Adams had been accused of stealing a car from a place in Ottawa and crashing it into the National Guard training site gate in Marseilles and then into a culvert south of Seneca in May. Judge Cynthia Raccuglia approved the plea and sentence last week.
