Newly elected LaSalle County Board Chairman Don Jensen named Curtis Faber the vice chairman today. In Jensen’s absence when there is board business to handle, Faber may do it. Faber, like Jensen, is a Republican. He represents a Mendota area district.
Jensen also named members of the Committee on Appointments and Legislative and Rules today: Faber, Tina Busch, Jill Bernal, Lou Ann Carretto, Randy Freeman, and Tom Walsh. They and Jensen will decide who’s to be on all the other County Board committees. The committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday this week and Monday next.
