While all your pet may want for Christmas is food, Veterinarian Dr. Susan Nelson says there are some ingredients to look out for, like xylitol.
She adds that fatty pieces of meat can also be harmful to dogs along with chicken bones. Other foods that can cause problems include nuts, raisins, grapes, and raw dough as well as several others.
Dr. Nelson says certain pieces of meat and flavorings can make your pet sick or even be fatal.
Nelson urges pet owners to protect their pets by discouraging guests from giving them any type of food without your oversight.
