Ottawa residents who have yard waste to get rid of have until Sunday to get rid of it in the city dumpsters. The dumpsters are in the 400 block of W. Jackson St. But they’ll be gone after Sunday.
City Commissioner Marla Rodriguez says the leaf vacuum crews will keep working in the city. It’s against the city’s ordinances to burn leaves. The yard waste dumpsters can take leaves, branches, grass clippings, and other things that come from plants.
