Local businesses that have had business interruptions because of COVID-19 are eligible for more grant money. The city of Ottawa has been given more than $714,000 from the state. The money can be given to businesses in amounts from $1,500 to $25,000.
Retail stores, restaurants, and restaurant-bar businesses with fewer than 50 employees can apply for the grants. City Hall will figure out how much to award based on how much of an interruption the business had. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 8.
