The people staying in the PADS homeless shelters are having Thanksgiving. Director Carol Alcorn says volunteers and donors are providing food.
The shelter is open 24-hours a day these days because of COVID-19, so people don’t have the extra risk of leaving and returning with the virus. Alcorn says there are enough volunteers for today, but you can go online to “IV PADS dot org” to volunteer for other dates.
