About 5% of everyone in LaSalle County is known to have had the coronavirus. The LaSalle County Health Department says 5,589 people from the county have tested positive as of Monday. Of them, 3,154 have recovered. That leaves 2,435 current cases, about 2.2% of the county’s population.
The health department says four more people have died of the virus, bringing the total to 118 as of Monday. In earlier reports, we incorrectly reported 118 as of Saturday. The correct number was 114.
