Floyd E. Coffey, 88, of Ottawa, passed away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at the Pavilion of Ottawa.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Floyd was born on August 16, 1935, in Alton, IL to Floyd A. and Hazel (Tyler) Coffey. He married Judith L. Reeder on January 8, 1956, at the First Baptist Church in Ottawa. Floyd was a Millwright and a member of the Local #2158.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; three children, Kelly (Mike) Grobe of Ottawa, Kim Chinn of Arizona, and Guy (Wendy) Coffey of Ottawa; seven grandchildren, Kyle Grobe, Emily (Kevin) Tyson, Patrick (Ashley) Grobe, Tyler (Kim) Chinn, Travis Chinn, Claire Coffey, and Seth Coffey; and two great-grandchildren, Lyla Grobe and Jackson Chinn.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Grace Withrow-Caulder and Lois Yasm.
Memorials may be directed to Handy Foods in the care of the Ottawa Community Dinner or Pet Project.
