Oglesby’s water tower has been drained and recoated. City Commissioner Jason Curran says it’s being refilled this week. After water is sampled and it tests okay, the tower will be back in service.
There’s one problem Curran says the city needs to adjust for. He says the lights need to be raised because they make an ugly shadow on the city’s logo now.
Curran says water tower work has delayed water main flushing in Oglesby. That’s scheduled to start on November 30th.
