Oglesby City Commissioner Jason Curran says the current contract for running the city’s water and sewer departments doesn’t provide the city with all the employees it needs. So another full time employee’s being added in the next contract with TEST Inc.
TEST will run the water and wastewater plants. The contract will go into the middle of the next city council terms, so a new city council won’t have to deal with negotiating a new one right after it’s elected.
The city council put the contract on file this week.
