If you have had a COVID 19 infection and it’s been more than 28 days since you last experienced symptoms, your plasma is very valuable to newly diagnosed patients.
The collections will also take place in Urbana at Community Blood Services of Illinois and in Springfield at the Central Illinois Community Blood Center.
They are the exclusive provider for 95 hospitals in the Upper Midwest.
You must register to donate and the deadline is Tuesday, November 10th at 5:00pm.

Check with your doctor if you have underlying conditions such as diabetes before donating.
