As deaths from COVID-19 become a daily occurrence in LaSalle County, the active case count is up to 969. The county’s health department reported a 71st fatal case Tuesday. A woman in her 70s is the latest from the county to not survive the infection. The county also set a record for new cases with 90 of them reported Tuesday.
