Mitigations that include no indoor dining or bar service will go into effect beginning Wednesday in the health region 2,that includes La Salle, Bureau, Putnam, Livingston counties.
Ottawa Police Chief Brent Roalson says:
All bars in La Salle County will be closing at 11 p.m. and opening no earlier than 6 a.m. starting Wednesday, in response to rising corona virus positivity rates.
There will be no indoor service at bars or restaurants.
Indoor and outdoor gatherings are limited to 25 guests or 25% overall capacity.
Ottawa Police do ask the business owners and citizens of Ottawa to follow mitigation factors and stay safe.
Mitigations were imposed in health Region 2, of which La Salle County is part of, because there was an 8% positivity rate for three or more days.
