Americans don’t pay much attention to foreign news. Cong. Adam Kinzinger thinks some things happening overseas deserve our attention.
The Channahon Republican thinks America’s relations with China should have come up more this year during the campaigns. Kinzinger says the country’s economy was doing well until the pandemic, so he feels there should be a payroll protection program. He thinks it’ll happen soon after the election. But he says the government’s role in job creation is to create an environment for the private sector to do it in.
Kinzinger’s being challenged by LaSalle Democrat Dani Brzozowski. In comments aired late last week, she said she’s surprised gun control hasn’t come up more. Kinzinger thinks it hasn’t come up much during the campaign because people in the district are comfortable with things.
