Raoul is urging shoppers to do research before taking advantage of “buy now, pay later” offers or accepting offers of loans. He also recommends avoiding fake websites, being careful when clicking on links sent to your phone or email from suspicious or unfamiliar sources and never giving out private information.

>>Death Investigation Underway In McLean Co

(McLean Co., IL) — A death investigation is underway in McLean County. Authorities say deputies were called out Saturday to the area of 1375 East Road and 700 North Road on a report of a female looking for a male who was believed to be the victim of violence. Officers were then led to an apartment in the 16-hundred block of Springfield Road in Bloomington, where two people were arrested. Later, a male was found lying in a ditch in the area of Route 136 and 1025 East Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

>>Bull On The Loose In Menard Co

(Menard Co., IL) — Authorities are searching for a bull on the loose in Menard County. The Menard County Sheriff’s office reported the bull loose Friday off State Park Road north of Reimer Avenue. The owner has been identified. The bull is all black in color and believed to weigh between 16 hundred and 18 hundred pounds. Anyone with information should call the Menard County Sheriff’s Office.

>>One Man Wounded In Decatur Shooting

(Decatur, IL) — One man is wounded following a shooting in Decatur. Police say the victim was shot Saturday night near the corner of Van Dyke and View streets. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The shooting is under investigation.

>>No One Hurt In Thanksgiving Day Fire In Champaign

(Champaign, IL) — No one is hurt following a Thanksgiving Day fire in Champaign. The blaze started last Thursday in a detached garage fire in the 16-hundred block of Parkside Terrace. Investigators determined the fire was caused by a grill, calling it accidental.
