On Tuesday 41-year-old Alann Hardy of Ottawa ran a stop sign at East 2351st Road on Route 52 and struck a vehicle driven by 53 year old Mark Corpus of Spring Valley. Hardy was ticketed for disobeying the stop sign by La Salle County sheriff’s deputies.
On Friday, La Salle County Sheriff’s deputies cited 60-year-old Brenda Nichols of De Kalb for doing 71 in a 55 mph zone on Route 23 near 42nd Road.
Also at 10:30 pm, LaSalle County Deputies clocked 45-year-old Tajuan Akins of Streator for doing 74 in a 55mph zone on Route 18 at about East 10th Road.
On Saturday at 4:30 pm LaSalle County Deputies stopped 25-year-old Danu Tomuz of South Elgin at Norris Street & Guyon Street. in Ottawa for driving with a suspended registration. He was released with a notice to appear.
On Saturday about 4:30pm, LaSalle County Deputies investigated a two-vehicle accident with no injuries at the intersection of Champlain ST & Retz DR.
38-year-old Jenna Harper of Peru was driving on a suspended foreign license when 65-year-old Daniel Smith of Ottawa struck the front end of her vehicle at Champlain and Retz Drive. Daniel was cited for an improper turn at the intersection.
