A new fountain at the center of the new Peru roundabout on Plank Rd. has been on a few times. Mayor Scott Harl says it’s not on all the time, because he wants to keep the water in the reservoir.
The fountain cost $50,000. Harl says that came from donations. He told the City Council last week, he’s surprised at how generously people have given money for the project.
