A pandemic closing so many businesses down might have been a hard time for anyone to become a new director at an established Chamber of Commerce. But Jeff Hettrick, who’s been the director in Ottawa since January, says things have gone well.
Hettrick says businesses have been able to hang on. He says at least five new businesses have opened in Ottawa during the last six months.
And he says what makes Ottawa so great is how people are willing to help each other, even if they’re competing businesses.
