Spry Physical Therapy and Geriatric Wellness has been open on LaSalle St. in downtown Ottawa since July. But because of the pandemic, the Chamber of Commerce put off a ribbon cutting until Thursday. Owner Lindsey Nordstrom opened up while other business owners were worried about uncertainty.
Chamber of Commerce Director Jeff Hettrick says there have been five business openings that he knows of in the last six months. Based on what others have told him, he believes the city’s on par with last year for business openings.
