The LaSalle County Health Department’s coronavirus recovery number is just one less than 1,200 as of Tuesday with the addition of 25 cases. The total case count so far is at 1,748 with 14 added Tuesday.
The Illinois Department of Public Health added 23 fatal cases to its coronavirus statistics Tuesday for 8,637 so far. All of the fatal cases involved people at least 70 years old, except for one woman in her 30s. There were 1,362 new cases for 291,001.
