The state of Illinois reported 22 more deaths related to COVID-19 Saturday for 8,295 so far. The Illinois Department of Public Health’s tally of cases so far went up by 2,121 to 259,909.
The LaSalle County Health Department says 14 new cases have been diagnosed. That makes 1,480 so far. Recoveries held at 890 and fatal cases remained at 54. New local cases affected people from their pre-teen years to their 70s.
