Police looking for a human body behind a truck stop in Peru haven’t found it. Today the LaSalle County Coroner issued a statement saying the search did recover a bone but experts have determined that it isn’t human.
The sheriff was acting on a tip heard on the podcast Where the Bodies are Buried. Convicted serial murderer Dellmus Colvin described leaving a body behind the Flying J truck stop. Colvin has claimed to have killed as many as 52 people, most of them women.
