With 39 more deaths added to the tally, the state of Illinois has now logged 8,064 fatal coronavirus cases as of Tuesday. State figures say 1,492 more people have been diagnosed with the virus. That makes 236,515 so far.
The LaSalle County Health Department reports 16 more coronavirus cases as of Tuesday for 1,276 so far. And 31 more recoveries were added for a total of 714.
