Unemployment numbers dropped from June to July as pandemic restrictions eased and people returned to work.
LaSalle County’s rate dropped from 13.5% to 10.1%. Bureau County’s was 10.0% in June and 7.8% in July. Putnam County’s went from 10.9% to 8.3%. The three combined went from 12.6% to 9.5%.
Grundy County was at 13.9% in June and 9.9% in July.
