LaSalle-Peru High School is moving to all remote learning starting Tuesday. That will last until October 16. That decision is on the heels of a positive coronavirus test case there. Supt. Steven Wrobleski says going all online will provide the most consistent learning experience while dealing with the frustrations of some students being isolated.
Ottawa Elementary schools will be closed again Friday. That’s primarily because of the heat, but COVID-19 is a factor. Masks can be especially uncomfortable for students in the hot buildings that don’t have air conditioning. Shepherd Middle School is being cleaned because of a positive coronavirus test on someone there.
