Peru police have picked up two people who may have had something to do with an early morning fire and some tire slashings. Police Chief Doug Bernabei says it may take time for formal charges to be filed. For now, both people are considered to be persons of interest.
A trailer at the Kenmar Trailer Court was on fire at about 3:30 this morning. Trailer court residents put it most of the way out with extinguishers and fire fighters took care of the rest. Shortly after that, police got calls about car tires slashed throughout the southwestern and western parts of Peru.
