Forty-seven new positive coronavirus test results in one day shatter the record LaSalle County set just last week. The LaSalle County Health Department reported 26 new cases last Thursday and 47 Monday. After adjustments for people who don’t live in the county as originally thought, the county now has had 557 cases. With two more deaths added Monday, the county is up to 20. And with ten more recoveries, the county is at 256.
State figures provided Monday added 1,298 cases for 183,241 so far and ten more deaths for 7,526. The week-long positive test rate is continuing going up slowly and is at 4.0%.
