LaSalle County added 26 new coronavirus cases to its tally Thursday. The county health department says the total number of cases is at 467. Four new recoveries were also announced for a total of 246. Among the cases are 15 women and 11 men ranging in age from their 20s to their 80s.
The State of Illinois announced 1,772 new cases and 18 additional deaths for a total of 176,896 cases and 7,478 deaths. The state also announced that it hit more than 40,000 tests in one day. The test positivity rate remains at 3.8 percent.
