More local restaurant and bar owners have announced they’re taking precautions after employees have come down with the coronavirus or were in contact with others who had it.
Igloo Diner in Peru closed temporarily until the owners conferred with the LaSalle County Health Department. Jack’s Tap in Spring Valley says an employee has tested positive. That employee hasn’t worked since last Tuesday. And at the Root Beer Stand in Oglesby, there’s an employee who hasn’t been at work since before coming into contact with the virus more than a week ago.
The owners and managers of each place say they’re having their businesses professionally cleaned.
