The Hegeler Carus Mansion summer concerts got started last Friday. Tonight’s act is Al and Jeannie Brown, a locally known jazz group. The mansion’s executive director Cindy Waddick says people going to the show must check in with masks on and get their temperatures checked. Then they go to a circle on the lawn.
The concerts will continue every Friday night, except next Friday, through September 18. Waddick says the concerts provide about ten to 15 percent of the mansion’s revenue, so not being able to have concerts until last week put a crimp in things.
