Too hard to hold an event that draws thousands of people each night during pandemic restrictions, the LaSalle County Junior Fair will not happen this year. Junior Fair Board President Chuck Walter says 4H is still doing showings and judging in a virtual format. But none of the Junior Fair events will happen.
Walter says the board isn’t losing a lot of money canceling next month’s fair, but it’s hoping for a money raising opportunity later this year with the annual Fall Fundraiser.
As for 4H events, members can start registering for them next week. The coordinators are providing instructions to 4Hers.
