IVCC is gearing up for the 2023 fall semester with Coffee with a Counselor at the IVCC Ottawa Center on Thursday, Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon. Coffee with a Counselor provides a casual opportunity for students to meet with college counselors to discuss their academic plans.
“Coffee with a Counselor provides a relaxed atmosphere for a student to sit down, sip on some coffee and talk with our counselor to develop a plan for their fall schedules. The Ottawa Center is conveniently located right downtown and is a great place to register and pay for classes all in one stop,” Ottawa Center Coordinator Jeanette Phalen said.
Courses offered at the Ottawa Center have expanded to include Global Environment, Introduction to Business Computers, Art of the Film, Human Growth and Development, Principles of Microeconomics and general education classes.
IVCC’s main campus also offers a variety of classes, including courses for students interested in education careers. The college offers the required basic general education classes for students to expedite their journey to receiving a four-year degree. IVCC offers online, hybrid and in-person courses on both campuses.
