Motorized bikes are causing some issues in Peru. Alderman Jason Edgcomb says he got a call from a resident about motorized bikes cutting through some of the parks. The council discussed how they could try to deter it from happening again. Police Chief Sarah Raymond says she wishes more people would call police because they might be able to help.
She says she hopes the council could make changes in the future.
City Attorney Scott Schweickert says bikes aren’t allowed in city parks, but the language could be cleaned up in city ordinances to make it clearer.
