McKinley Elementary Reading Specialist Beth Woolley is one this year’s recipients of the Regional Office of Education’s Excellence in Education Award. Woolley says she comes from a line educators.
Woolley has been teaching for nearly thirty years. She says school is more than just books and grades and views McKinley as a family. Her advice to students is to keep relying on the educators who care about them and believe in themselves.
McKinley Principal Moriah Mott says she’s proud that Woolley won the award and that everyone at the school loves her. Ottawa Grade School Supt. Cleve Threadgill calls Woolley a genuine and wonderful person.
