Thursday is the first day of the 2023 LaSalle County 4-H Show and Junior Fair. It will be at the 4-H Fairground on Ottawa’s southwest side off 4-H Rd. 4-H Leader Heather Arbet says this year’s fair will have more local businesses like Axetreme Axe Throwing and food vendors. Arbet says the fair is packed with livestock shows and 4-H activities like public speaking and art shows. She says the fair gets a lot of participants every year because kids are seeing what 4-H is doing.
The fair runs from Thursday through Sunday. Returning evening activities include the Truck and Trailer pull Thursday, the Broken Horse Rodeo on Friday, and the Demolition Durby on Saturday. A full list of activities
