Ottawa police say there’s been a 50% drop in traffic accidents since the governor’s stay at home order went into effect in March compared to the last three years. From March 16 through April 30 in 2019 there were 93 recorded traffic accidents compared to 42 this year. 2017 had 75 accidents and 2018 had 84. 2017, 18, and 19 had an average of 84 accidents.
