Three people were arrested for residential burglary yesterday in Streator.
Streator police arrested 45-year-old Heather Legner yesterday afternoon in the 500 block of Golf Rd. after receiving a call about a possible home robbery. Legner confessed to police on the scene that a riding mower had been stolen from the residence and taken to the 200 block of Lukins St.
There, the police found the mower along with the second suspect, 38-year-old Nicole M. Finney. Finney was also in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Another suspect, 51-year-old Jason Pruitt, was arrested at Lukins St.
During a search of the Lukins St. location, several suspected stolen items from other robbery incidents throughout the city found there.
The suspects also had outstanding warrants for possessing a controlled substance in Livingston County. All three arrestees were taken to the LaSalle County Jail, and an investigation is underway.
