Starved Rock is offering a free program tomorrow, July 8, in their Starved Rock Saplings series. “P is for Prairie” begins at 9:30 a.m. at the Starved Rock Visitor Center.
The event features storytelling, crafts, activities and a short hike for children to learn about and explore prairie ecosystems. The program is suitable for kids ages 3 to 10, and an adult chaperone must be present.
This event is free, but donations are welcome on the day of the event.
