U.S. Rep. Darin LaHood and State Senator Tom Bennett opened a new district office in Morris to provide residents of east-central Illinois with more constituent services.
According to Bennett, the office will provide “easy access” to resources at the federal and state levels.
The pair plans to host an open house at the new Morris office on July 24.
“As a mayor, I appreciate the level of commitment and dedication Congressman LaHood and Sen. Bennett have for their districts,” Morris Mayor Chris Brown said. “We look forward to working with both of them on constituent issues and we are grateful for their effort to have a presence in this part of their districts.”
The Lahood-Bennett Morris office is located at 1715 N Division St., Suite E. Office hours are 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and appointments are recommended.
