Last Friday was Arbor Day. But the Ottawa Tree Board didn’t get to have the usual tree planting at a school, because the schools are closed. Board chairman Brent Barron wants to do it in the fall with the same readings and students helping shovel dirt.
Barron talked about it at a Tree Board meeting last night.
