A woman walking northeast of Utica was swiped by a car last night. Utica Firefighters were called to U.S. 6 and E. 10th Rd. to help the woman. Fire Chief Ben Brown says the woman was later flown to St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria but should be okay. LaSalle County Sheriff’s Deputies are investigating what happened. They say the woman wasn’t hit on purpose.
