Pres. Joe Biden says his economic plan is working. He spoke to a group gathered in Chicago yesterday about “growing the economy from the middle out and bottom up.” The term used yesterday was “Bidenomics”

Biden claimed that because of his administration’s strategy, the United States has seen the highest economic growth among world economies since the pandemic. He says it’s because of investments in infrastructure and domestic manufacturing. He also called out former Pres. Donald Trump and Republicans for giving tax cuts to corporations and the wealthy.

The fundraising event also had other speakers like Senators Dick Durbin and Tammy Duckworth along with Gov. Pritzker. According to the Associated Press, a poll shows that “30% of U.S Adults think the US economy is good.” Other adults have said the economy isn’t doing good because of inflation.
