Chicago Public Schools would normally be in session well into June. Ottawa High School Supt. Mike Cushing is wondering if the governor’s decision to cancel school for the rest of the school year means other districts that are ready to start summer school by then can’t.
He’s looking for clarification on whether driver ed, summer school, and summer camps can start on time. Ottawa High School’s summer programs start on June 1.
