Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers added an advanced mammography system to its Obstetrics & Gynecology Specialists office in Ottawa.
This system detects 20% to 50% more invasive breast cancers than 2-D imaging, reduces mammogram exams in 3.7 seconds and is FDA approved.
“This new state-of-the-art system will consistently allow us to obtain quality images, even for patients with dense breast tissue,” Manager of Imaging Services at Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers Jeff Thompson said.
Morris Hospital offers this new mammography system in Ottawa, Morris, Channahon and the Diamond-Coal City Campus.
