The Starved Rock Country Community Foundation has announced the Community Cares Coalition. President and CEO Pamela Beckett says it’s a pooling of resources to help people who could be in need in various ways. Maybe one person needs help paying the rent this month. Or another needs counseling for depression and anxiety.
Beckett says it’s not limited to the current crisis with the corona virus. The foundation and the human services organizations it works with are distributing information about the Community Cares Coalition.
