The confirmed case count of COVID-19 in LaSalle County is up to 24. The county health department on Wednesday said a woman in her forties tested positive for the virus. Eight have recovered so far. The Illinois Dept. of Public Health announced 1,346 new cases and 80 deaths. The total number of confirmed cases is now at 24,593 with 948 deaths.
Health officials are reminding people to assume they’ve been exposed to the virus and stay home as much as possible.
